Firmware Upgrade v007 for NTS-200
and TimeVault Network Time Servers
Firmware version v007 is now available for all TrueTime NTS-200
and TimeVault Network Time Servers. This upgrade primarily addresses
bug fixes that have been identified through October 2001.
Firmware Changes
- Corrected a rare condition that caused the GPS processor to
halt. This condition caused the time server to repeat the same
four seconds over and over.
- Fixed intermittent problems with the Ethernet driver that caused
loss of communication through the Ethernet port.
- Updated the ACTS dial-up time string parser used in TimeVaults.
- Added more stringent time quality watchdog functions.
- Fixed a problem with the keypad lockout command in which the
locked setting would not persist through a power cycle.
- Removed navigation button rollover effects from the NTS-200
web pages.
- Added commands to lock out software updates remotely.
- Added a means for recovering from a lost username and password.
